Mountain bikers wanting light, shock-absorbing grips with a medium thickness.
The ESI Chunky is the brand's most popular grip: a 32 mm installed diameter, 60 g pair of silicone grips made in the USA. Silicone is famous for absorbing vibration, so your hands arrive at the bottom of the trail a lot less buzzed.
They slide on over standard 22 mm bars with no clamps, and they are a good match for bikes with twist shifters. The grips are latex and rubber free, and bar plugs come in the pair.
This is the green colour, a bright lime that makes a statement on the bars.

Maybe not for
Fits standard 22 mm handlebars. Length about 130 mm; trim for twist-shift setups if needed.
Install with alcohol
Slide them on with a little rubbing alcohol on the bar, fit the bar plugs first to protect the ends, then let the alcohol evaporate before riding. The same trick makes them easy to remove later.
