Riders and mechanics rebuilding hubs that use 17 x 28 x 7 mm bearings.
The Enduro MR 17287 LLB is a 17 x 28 x 7 mm radial cartridge bearing, a size found in many wheel hubs. It can also be used as a pivot bearing, though Enduro recommends its MAX version for suspension.
It is an ABEC-3 bearing with C3 clearance, deep-groove races and Grade 10 balls, filled 90% with high pressure waterproof grease. LLB light-contact seals keep rolling resistance low, which is what you want in a hub.
If your wheel feels rough when you spin the axle by hand, or has play at the rim, new bearings are usually the fix.

Deep-groove races
Enduro engineers its races as deep as possible to fit the largest balls for the size.
LLB seals
Light-contact dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove to form a labyrinth, keeping drag low for hub use.
Great for
Maybe not for
Size MR 17287: 17 mm bore, 28 mm outside diameter, 7 mm wide. Sold individually; most hubs need two or more.
Press, do not hammer
Use a bearing press or drift that pushes on the outer race when fitting into a hub shell. Pushing on the inner race or the seal can damage a new bearing before it turns a single kilometre.
Bearings made for bikes.
Enduro Bearings makes cartridge bearings designed specifically for bicycles, from hubs and bottom brackets to headsets and suspension pivots.
The range covers high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel and ceramic-hybrid bearings, all built with deep-groove races and dual-lip labyrinth seals to keep grease in and grime out.
