A strong choice for wheel builders, performance riders and mechanics replacing a compatible black straightpull spoke while keeping weight and aerodynamic drag under control.
The DT Swiss DT Aerolite is a lightweight, bladed straightpull spoke for performance-focused wheel builds and compatible replacement work. Its flat profile is shaped to offer excellent aerodynamic characteristics, while the double-butted construction keeps the centre section slim at 1.5 mm without losing the stability expected from a high-quality wheel component.
DT Swiss forms the centre section through cold forging before applying high-pressure flat forging. This process densifies and strengthens the material, then creates the aerodynamic blade shape. The result is a spoke that balances low weight, aerodynamic efficiency and reliability for road, gravel and other compatible wheel applications.
This version is finished in black and is available in lengths from 194 to 310 mm. It fits hubs with standard spoke holes and is approved for e-bikes up to 32 km/h or 250 W. For a replacement, match the spoke type and exact length to your wheel; for a new build, calculate the required length from your hub and rim dimensions before ordering.
Bladed aerodynamic profile
The 0.9 / 2.3 mm flat profile presents an aerodynamic shape to the airflow, helping create a performance-focused wheel build.
Double-butted construction
The 2.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm profile reduces the centre section while retaining thicker ends for a practical balance of weight and strength.
Cold-forged centre section
Cold forging reduces the centre to 1.5 mm while densifying and strengthening the spoke material.
High-pressure flat forging
The final forging stage creates the blade shape and further increases material strength.
Straightpull fitment
Designed for hubs using straightpull spokes and standard spoke holes; confirm your hub and wheel specification before purchase.
Broad length range
Lengths from 194 to 310 mm cover a wide range of compatible wheel builds and replacement requirements.
E-bike approved
Suitable for approved e-bike applications up to 32 km/h or 250 W.

Construction
Cold forging
The spoke is cold-forged to reduce the centre section to 1.5 mm while densifying and strengthening the material, helping keep weight low without sacrificing reliability.
Flat forging
High-pressure flat forging creates the aerodynamic blade shape and further strengthens the spoke for efficient wheel performance.
DT Swiss is a Swiss cycling component manufacturer founded in 1994 by Frank Böckmann, Maurizio D'Alberto and Marco Zingg following a management buyout from Vereinigte Drahtwerke in Biel. The company began with a focus on high-quality spokes and later expanded into nipples, hubs, rims, wheels and suspension products.
The brand develops products for ambitious cyclists, with an emphasis on reliability, quality and innovation. Its history includes the development of its own hubs, rims and wheelbuilding programme, as well as production and service operations in Europe, Asia and North America.
