A good fit for anyone replacing or changing a 16T freewheel on a 1/8-inch singlespeed bike with a threaded hub.
The Dicta EZ-OFF is a 16T single-speed freewheel for bikes using a 1/2" x 1/8" chain. It threads onto a compatible hub and provides a straightforward replacement or gearing option for singlespeed, track-style and utility builds where a 1/8-inch drivetrain is used.
The freewheel body and tooth profile are CNC machined from aluminium, with a silver finish and an approximate weight of 140 g. The 16T sprocket offers a practical middle-ground gearing choice, but your final gearing will also depend on the chainring fitted to your bike.
The key benefit is the EZ-OFF four-notch removal design. With the appropriate removal tool, the freewheel is intended to come off more easily and can be removed and reused rather than treated as a one-time installation. Before ordering, check that your wheel uses a threaded hub, that your chain is 1/8-inch, and that you have access to the compatible #6631 removal tool.
