A practical choice for anyone replacing a 26-inch MTB tyre for hardpack trails, packed paths and smooth to moderately rough riding.
The Chaptah Bestia is a 26 x 2.20 mountain bike tyre made for hardpack riding. Its FT tread pattern gives you a useful balance of grip and durability, helping the tyre feel controlled on smooth to moderately rough trails without being aimed at loose or muddy conditions.
When your regular rides include firm fire roads, packed trails and flowier singletrack, the Bestia’s grippy cornering character helps you carry confidence through turns. The wire-bead construction is designed for use with tubes, making this a practical replacement or upgrade for a compatible 26-inch wheelset.
This all-black tyre is also available in 27.5 x 2.20 and 29 x 2.20 sizes, so the Bestia range covers several common MTB wheel standards. Before ordering, check that your wheel uses the 26-inch, 56-559 size and that your rim and tube setup are suitable.
