Home mechanics and racers chasing silent disc brakes on Centrelock hubs.
Sometimes a disc brake rubs no matter how carefully you centre the caliper, usually because the rotor sits a fraction too far in or out. These 0.1 mm Centrelock shims fit behind the rotor on the hub to move it outward in tiny, controlled steps.
They're especially useful if you run two wheelsets on one bike. Shim the rotors so both wheels sit in the same place, and you can swap wheels without re-adjusting the brakes. The pack has two shims, so you can stack them for 0.2 mm or do both wheels.
0.1 mm thick
Fine adjustment of rotor position.
Centrelock fit
Sits between the hub and a Centrelock rotor.
Two in the pack
Stack them or use one per wheel.
Wheelset swaps
Match rotor position across wheels.
Shim
Great for
Maybe not for
For Centrelock rotor mounts only. Each shim is 0.1 mm thick. Shims only move the rotor outward, away from the hub.
Fit and re-torque
Slide the shim onto the hub splines before the rotor, then refit the lockring and tighten it to the torque printed on it. Spin the wheel and check the gap. If it's still off, add a second shim or re-centre the caliper.
