An ideal choice for commuters, recreational cyclists and anyone who wants clear speed and distance information without GPS connectivity or app-based ride tracking.
The Cateye CC-RS100W Quick is a simple wireless cyclocomputer that focuses on the ride information most cyclists actually use: current, average and maximum speed, trip and total distance, moving time and the clock. There is no GPS, mapping or external ride-data recording, making it a straightforward choice for riders who want useful live figures without managing an app or account.
The easy-to-read inverted LCD keeps current speed prominent, while the second data row cycles through your other ride figures. A pace arrow shows whether you are riding above or below your current average speed, and automatic start/stop means your trip data begins when you move and pauses when you stop. The manual odometer setting is handy when replacing a computer or transferring an existing mileage total.
Installation is tidy thanks to the integrated out-front bracket, and the head unit removes from the mount when you leave the bike unattended or need to change its battery. The included analogue speed sensor fits the front fork and works with the supplied spoke magnet. It suits 31.8 mm handlebars, with a supplied shim for 25–26.0 mm bars, and its IPX8 weather resistance provides reassurance for riding in wet conditions. Note that the screen has no backlight, and the system is intended for basic speed, distance and time data rather than training metrics or navigation.
Straightforward ride data
See current, average and maximum speed, trip distance, total distance, moving time and the clock in one uncomplicated system.
Clear inverted LCD
The high-contrast display is easy to read at a glance, with current speed kept prominent and secondary figures available at the press of a button.
Automatic start/stop
The computer begins recording when movement is detected and pauses when you stop, so there is no separate power button to manage on every ride.
Wireless speed sensing
An analogue wireless sensor and spoke magnet measure wheel speed and distance without a cable running along the fork.
Integrated out-front mount
Position the computer in front of the stem for a clean cockpit, then remove the head unit from the bracket when locking up your bike.
Flexible handlebar fit
The mount fits 31.8 mm handlebars and includes a shim for 25–26.0 mm handlebars.
Programmable odometer
Manually set the total distance so you can preserve your accumulated mileage when replacing or reinstalling the computer.
Weather-ready construction
IPX8 weather resistance helps the computer cope with wet-weather riding and everyday outdoor use.
