Riders with Campagnolo brakes and Campagnolo carbon wheels who need to replace worn pads.
These are Campagnolo BR-BO500 pad inserts, the special red brake blocks Campagnolo makes for its composite (carbon) wheels. A set of four covers both brakes, with pads marked LEFT and RIGHT so each goes in the correct holder.
They fit Campagnolo pad holders that take the insert system (from model year 2000), with or without a release clip. Campagnolo is clear that these red blocks are for its composite wheels only and must not be used on any other wheel, so check the wheel and pad pairing printed on the pack before you fit them.

One pad shape. Look at the holder on your brake: if it has a retainer screw, these are not the right pads.
Fitting, as Campagnolo describes it
Wet the inside of the holder with a little alcohol to help the pad slide in, and never use lubricant. If your holder has a release clip, push the pad in until it clicks and the clip has seated, then try to pull it back out to check it is locked. Fit the pad marked LEFT to the left holder and RIGHT to the right, with the arrow pointing the way the wheel turns, and set about 1 mm from the rim. Alcohol is highly flammable, so use it in a well-ventilated area away from flames and sparks. Campagnolo also warns that braking power drops a lot in the wet, so ride with extra care.
