The COLIBRI is a one-bike trunk rack designed for simple, convenient transport. It arrives fully assembled and attaches to the tailgate with four straps, while the narrow support-arm design suits most bike frames. With 32 cm between the support arms, it provides useful clearance between the bike and vehicle to reduce the chance of contact.
Your bike is held by anti-sway rubber cradles lined with soft rubber to help protect the frame’s paintwork. Foam pads protect the bumper and tailgate, rubber-padded lower hooks add stability, and the supplied additional strap helps limit movement, including wheel movement. The rack supports one bike up to 25 kg and folds flat when you remove it from the car.
Please check your vehicle carefully before fitting. The COLIBRI is not suitable for cars with rear spoilers, trailers, campers, RVs, tandems or recumbents, and bikes without a traditional crossbar—such as many step-through and full-suspension bikes—need an artificial crossbar. Do not carry bikes with baby seats, panniers, wheel covers, full bike covers or motors. On some vehicles the bike can obscure the rear lights or number plate, so a lighting board and replacement plate may be required; automatic tailgate opening must also be disabled.
