Anyone running Presta valve tubes who sometimes needs to use a Schrader only pump.
This brass valve adaptor screws onto a Presta (French) valve and gives you a Schrader (car style) end to pump through. It is the easy fix when the only pump around is a servo air hose or an older single head pump.
It is 20 mm long and made from brass, so the thread stays crisp and it will not corrode in the saddle bag. Unscrew the Presta valve tip first, thread the adaptor on, then pump as normal.
Sold as a single adaptor. Many riders leave one threaded on the valve so it is never lost.

Screws onto the threaded tip of a Presta (F/V) valve. Open the Presta valve nut before fitting, and do not over tighten on servo air lines, as they can burst a road tube quickly.

Petrol station air lines push a lot of air fast. Go in short bursts and check with your thumb or a gauge, as a skinny road tube can go from soft to over-inflated in a second or two.
