Riders on hybrid, commuter or comfort bikes who want a more upright position with less reach.
If you're stretching for the bars or feel too much weight on your hands, a short, high-rise stem is one of the easiest comfort fixes there is. This Bikelane stem is 60 mm long with a 35° rise, so it lifts the bar and brings it closer to you.
It clamps a standard 28.6 mm (1 1/8 inch) threadless steerer and a 25.4 mm handlebar, the common bar size on hybrids, cruisers and older flat bar bikes.
A matt black finish keeps it looking tidy on almost any bike.

Great for
Maybe not for
Needs a 28.6 mm (1 1/8 inch) threadless steerer and a 25.4 mm handlebar. Raising the bar this much may need longer brake and gear cables, so check they have enough slack before fitting.
Flip it to fine tune
A 35° stem can usually be fitted either way up. Rise up gives the tallest, most upright position; flipped, it drops the bar instead. Try both before cutting your steerer.
Check the cables
Moving the bars up and back takes up cable slack. Turn the bars fully both ways after fitting and make sure nothing pulls tight. We can swap it and re-run cables if needed.
