This is a clamp-on chain guide for a single chainring, made for 1x 9, 10 and 11-speed drivetrains. A plastic upper guard sits above the chain to help keep it on the ring when the ground gets rough.
The hinged alloy clamp is 34.9 mm across and comes with an adapter down to 31.8 mm, so it suits either size of tube. It is finished in black.

Clamp diameter is 34.9 mm, and the adapter takes it down to 31.8 mm. Measure the tube before you fit it.
Set the guard so the chain runs free
Fit the clamp to the tube, then set the guard so the chain passes through it without rubbing on either side. Turn the cranks by hand through several full turns and shift through the gears to check it stays clear, then tighten everything firmly.
