This is the Shimano Alivio SL-M3100 shift lever set for 3x9-speed mountain bike drivetrains. The left lever, SL-M3100-L, shifts a front triple chainring, and the right lever, SL-M3100-R, looks after the nine rear gears.
Both levers are RAPIDFIRE PLUS with an optical gear display, so you can see your front and rear gear at a glance, and the right lever can move up to three gears in one stroke. They mount with their own clamp band (clamp band type only), have a shift cable adjuster, and Shimano lists the rear lever for MTB 9-speed rear derailleurs.
