The AEROCRAFT is built around a large, semi-rimless shield lens that gives you broad coverage without a conventional lower frame. Its Purple Mirror photochromic lens adapts between 17–82% light transmission, moving from CAT 0 to CAT 3 in under 15 seconds as UV levels change. That makes it particularly useful for rides that move between open sunlight, tree cover and lower-light starts.
On the road or trail, the expansive lens delivers a wide field of view and strong protection from wind, dust and splashes. The lens is injection-moulded polycarbonate with a hard coating, hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment, and UVA, UVB and UVC protection. Independent testing found the lens easy to clean and the glasses light, while the large coverage and photochromic behaviour were praised for variable conditions.
Fit is adjustable through the copper-core temples, Ultra Grip Rubber contact points and the included alternative-fit nosepad. The flexible temple sections can help relieve pressure, although the broad sculpted shape will suit some faces better than others, so fit is worth checking carefully with your helmet. A hard case and microfibre bag are included, and a matching replacement photochromic lens is available separately.
