Its HiPER® Silver Mirror lens is rated CAT 3 with 13% light transmission, making it a strong choice for bright, exposed roads, fast descents and sunny MTB trails. Independent testing found the lens sharp and expansive in strong light, with the broad coverage helping keep wind, dust and glare out of your line of sight.
The lens uses 3D Lens Tech Plano shaping for a wide, unobstructed view, while the injection-moulded polycarbonate construction is impact-rated and shatter-resistant. Hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments help water, oil and dirt move away from the surface, and the hard coating adds scratch resistance. The practical trade-off is the dark CAT 3 tint: testing found it less suitable for frequent transitions into shaded woodland or low-light sections, so this version is best matched to rides where bright conditions dominate.
Fit is handled with copper-core temples, adjustable temple tips, Ultra Grip Rubber contact points and an extra alternative-fit nose pad. That gives you more scope to set the glasses securely, although fit can vary noticeably between faces, so the included nose-pad option is worth trying before settling on your preferred position. A hard case and microfibre bag are included for transport and cleaning.
