The Maxxis DTH is a grooved slick made for smooth, hard surfaces, whether that's a BMX race track, a pump track, the skatepark or the street. Its low, tight tread rolls quickly and grips well on hard-packed dirt and concrete.
This version uses a supple 120 TPI folding casing to keep weight down and help the bike snap out of the gate. SilkWorm under the tread adds puncture and tear resistance, and the dual compound tread balances speed down the straights with grip through the berms.
At 20 x 2.20 it's a good all-round width for a race or park 20 inch bike, and it can run front or rear.
