The ZEFAL Z Bar Plugs are a tubeless tyre repair kit built into your handlebar ends. Rather than carrying a separate plug tool, the two detachable parts store inside the bar and remain ready for a puncture that sealant cannot close. The kit is designed to permanently seal punctures up to 5 mm when used with the supplied repair plugs.
Installation is straightforward: the expandable screw system attaches each plug without tools, provided your handlebar has an internal diameter of 17.5–21 mm and at least 143 mm of usable internal length. Each part can be positioned on either side of the bar, letting you choose the layout that suits your cockpit.
You get a needle tool, knife, six tyre plugs, and an integrated tool for tightening a Presta valve core. The multi-tools remain accessible while wearing gloves, and the needle-tool adaptor can also hold a spare chain link when you supply one.
