The ZEFAL Tubeless Repair Kit is a compact roadside solution for punctures that your sealant cannot handle. The needle tool pushes a plug into the hole from the outside, so you can make a permanent repair without removing the tyre. Six plugs are included: three 2 mm plugs and three 4 mm plugs, suitable for punctures from 1 to 5 mm.
It packs neatly into a pocket, tool roll or saddle bag, while the protective box helps preserve the plugs between rides. The kit is made from steel and polyamide and weighs just 35 g. A real-world gravel repair kept a roughly 3 mm gash sealed over a 30-mile ride and two shorter rides, making this a practical choice when you are well away from home.
The handle also includes an integrated tool for tightening a Presta valve core, and it can accommodate a spare chain link if you want to add one separately. For smaller punctures, sealant may be enough; for damage larger than 5 mm, replacing the tyre is the safer option.
