The ZEFAL Pulse Z2 is a reversible bottle cage designed for bikes where a conventional top-entry cage is difficult to use. Its two-part construction lets you choose right- or left-hand bottle access, while the angled design makes it easier to slide a bottle in and out when space is restricted.
You can move the cage 22 mm upwards or downwards to make better use of the available frame space and suit your bike’s geometry. It accepts standard bottles measuring 72–76 mm in diameter, making it a useful fit for gravel bikes with frame bags, compact frames, enduro MTBs and eMTBs.
The reinforced polyamide construction provides a firm hold on the bottle. Real-world testing found bottles easy to slide in and secure over rough terrain, including when full. Just note that this is an angled-access cage rather than a true side-opening design, and larger bottles can be a tighter fit in particularly small frames.
