The thin profile slips between the tyre bead and the rim easily, and the reversible hook end works for both removing and refitting the tyre. At around 98 mm long they're small enough to live in a saddle bag or jersey pocket.
You get three levers on a card, which is the handy number for stubborn tyres: hook two on spokes and use the third to work the bead off.
