T47 gives modern frames the reliability of a threaded bottom bracket with room for bigger shells. This Wheels Manufacturing unit threads straight into a T47 shell with machined aluminium cups and outboard angular contact bearings, set up for SRAM GXP 24/22 mm cranks.
An included sleeve fits between the cups to keep dirt out and stop internal cables and hoses from rubbing on the crank spindle, a handy detail on bikes with internal routing.
Like BSA, the drive-side cup is left-hand thread and the non-drive cup is right-hand. The bearings are easy to service or replace, so it is a bottom bracket you can keep running for years.
