PF30 frames have a big 46 mm shell, which can creak and wear bearings when cups are simply pressed in. The Wheels Manufacturing PF30 Outboard bottom bracket uses two machined aluminium cups that thread together inside the shell, holding everything square and tight.
This version is made to fit 24 mm spindle cranks such as Shimano straight into a PF30 frame with no adapters. The result is less creaking, smoother running, longer bearing life and quick bearing swaps down the track.
It comes with silicone dust seals and 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm spindle spacers to set the crank up properly.
