BBRight and BB30a frames are designed around 30 mm crank spindles, which leaves riders with Shimano and other 24 mm spindle cranks stuck. The Wheels Manufacturing BBRight Adapter closes that gap, adapting 24 mm cranks to most BBRight frames and to Cannondale BB30a and PF30a frames.
The adapter cups are machined from engineering-grade Delrin and weigh just 48 g a pair. The kit includes 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm spindle spacers plus 30 mm ID spacers, so you can take up the asymmetric shell widths these frames use and set the crank preload properly.
It is a neat way to keep a frame you love and run the crank you want, without replacing the whole bottom bracket system.
