The Terreno Mix CX Adventure is a 700x33c tube-type cyclocross tyre built for conditions that can change from firm grass and hardpack to wet soil, muck and sand. Its mixed tread uses tightly spaced centre knobs to keep the tyre moving efficiently on straights, with micro knobs at the shoulders to improve grip when the course turns loose or off-camber.
When the surface gets soft, the tread opens up enough to find traction and clear away muck rather than becoming clogged. That makes this a practical choice for cyclocross courses, mixed-surface training and adventure rides where you cannot rely on consistently dry ground. Independent testing of the Terreno Mix tread family also found strong off-road traction and self-cleaning performance, while identifying asphalt efficiency and puncture protection as areas where aggressive grip-focused tyres can give up some performance.
The Sport casing is made from abrasion-resistant nylon, and the Bead Shield adds protection around the bead area for everyday durability. At 618 g per tyre, it is focused more on dependable all-condition use than outright race-day lightness. The folding bead makes storage and fitting more convenient, but this is a tube-type clincher, not a tubeless setup.
