This is the sintered version of SRAM's Large pad, the shape used in Code (2011 on), Code Stealth, Guide RE, G2 RE, DB8, DB6, DB4 and Motive brakes. SRAM calls the compound Heavy Duty, and it sits on a tough steel backing plate.
Sintered pads handle heat better than organic, so they resist fade on long descents, and they keep working in wet, muddy conditions. They also last noticeably longer, which makes them a favourite for enduro, bike park and heavier e-MTBs.
Expect a little more noise than organic and a longer bed-in, and the initial bite is a touch softer until they are fully bedded.
