The SRAM Large pad is the shape used by SRAM's big four-piston brakes: Code (2011 on), Code Stealth, Guide RE, G2 RE, DB8, DB6, DB4 and Motive. This set uses the Quiet organic compound on a steel backing plate.
Organic pads are the quietest SRAM makes, bed in quickly and give lots of initial bite, so the brake feels strong from the first pull. They are a nice match for trail and enduro riding in dry weather.
The trade-off is wear. Organic pads go faster in the wet and on long, hot descents, so if you ride a lot of mud or bike park laps, the sintered version of this pad is the better pick.
