These are genuine SRAM organic pads for the four-piston Trail, Guide and G2 brake family. The steel backing plate and Quiet organic compound give a smooth, predictable feel and keep squeal to a minimum.
Organic pads bite quickly and modulate nicely, and run quieter than sintered pads. The trade-off is that they wear a little faster and don't like long, very hot descents or wet, gritty conditions as much as sintered.
Each pack contains one pair with a spring, enough for one brake. Buy two if you're doing front and rear.
