The SM-MA-F160P/D is a black front disc brake mount adapter. In Shimano's naming, F is front, 160 is the rotor size, P is a post mount caliper and D is a flat mount fork, so it lets a post mount caliper bolt to a flat mount fork and run a 160 mm rotor. Shimano's fit chart lists it for flat mount forks and frames of the 140/160 mm type.
It holds your front brake, so fit it following Shimano's dealer manual: the adapter fixing screws and the caliper fixing screws both go to 6 to 8 N·m, and Shimano shows the adapter screws secured with wire. Use it with 160 mm rotors only; Shimano lists a separate SM-MA-F140P/D for 140 mm.
