The Shimano TR5 (SH-TR501) is designed for short course triathlon. Everything about it is aimed at a faster transition: an extra-wide opening, a single T1-Quick strap and a large heel loop you can grab with wet hands.
Underneath is a glass fibre reinforced sole with a Shimano stiffness rating of 6, stiff enough to put power down while staying comfortable over a race distance. A seamless midsole keeps the stack height low for a stable feel on the pedals.
The breathable mesh upper vents well and dries quickly after the swim, and the soft liner is comfortable without socks. The sole takes standard three-bolt road cleats (sold separately). This pair is white, size EU 43.
