The Shimano Tourney MF-TZ500-7 is the standard replacement freewheel for 7 speed bikes that use a screw-on (threaded) hub rather than a cassette freehub. It is what you will find on plenty of entry hybrids, kids' bikes and older mountain bikes.
This 14-34T version uses Shimano's MegaRange layout: the smaller sprockets are closely spaced for cruising, then a large 34T sprocket gives you a genuine climbing gear for steep driveways and hills.
A worn freewheel is a common cause of skipping gears, especially after a new chain. Swapping chain and freewheel together is the usual fix and brings a tired bike back to crisp shifting.
