The RT-EM600 is a narrow type Centre Lock rotor from Shimano's STEPS e-bike range, made for speed sensor systems. Shimano says it gives consistent, powerful braking on rugged mountain bike trails, and recommends it with its M6000, MT520 and MT420 brake kits. The rotor is polished stainless steel on a painted aluminium adapter, at a standard 1.75 mm thickness, and it suits resin or metal pads.
This is the 203 mm size and it comes with a lock ring. The hub carries a magnet for the speed sensor, and Shimano's note for all three sizes (160, 180 and 203 mm) reads for rear only with magnet bracket, so this is not a front wheel rotor. Centre Lock fitting is a splined hub seat held by the lock ring, and the ring is stamped 40 N·m.
