We’d choose it for commuting, winter training and long road kilometres where puncture resistance, durability and consistent grip matter more than having the lightest possible setup. It can also be used with an inner tube when required.
The reinforced 100 TPI multi-layer nylon casing is supported by a flexible Kevlar® bead-to-bead protection layer, ArmorSkin sidewall protection and extra bead protection. In this 26 mm size, the Inner Shield adds another protective layer beneath the casing. The slick tread keeps rolling resistance low for a practical road-focused feel.
The Graphene + Silica compound is designed to balance mileage, puncture resistance, grip and speed across dry and wet conditions. Independent testing of the RideArmor range found strong puncture resistance and wet grip, while real-world testing described its road feel as respectable for a hard-wearing tyre, with extra weight and a more demanding fit as the trade-offs. For the 700x26c version, check your rim manufacturer’s compatibility guidance: the published hookless compatibility information starts at 28 mm, so this size is not listed as hookless-compatible. Do not use ammonia-containing sealant.
