Its 120 TPI SpeedCORE™ casing uses a thin airtight rubber layer infused with aramid particles, helping combine air retention, mechanical resistance and casing flexibility. At the heart of the tyre is SmartEVO², a high-performance compound developed to deliver very low rolling resistance with strong grip and precise handling. Independent lab testing recorded 10.5 watts of rolling resistance for the 28-622 size, while real-world riding impressions highlight its cushioned feel, responsive acceleration and secure dry-road cornering. The tyre is also designed to work with modern aerodynamic rims and tubeless-ready wheels, including hooked and hookless designs.
This is a focused race tyre rather than a maximum-protection training tyre.
