The Orbea MX 20 Team is built for kids who want to ride everywhere, from the school run to the local trails. The aluminium frame and rigid alloy fork keep it light, which makes a huge difference for small riders, and the parts are sized for young hands and legs.
Orbea deliberately leaves off a suspension fork here. At this size most forks barely move under a light child and just add weight, so wide 20 x 2.20 Kenda Booster tyres do the cushioning instead and add plenty of grip on dirt.
A Shimano Altus 1x8-speed drivetrain gives a proper range of gears for hills with only one shifter to learn, and simple alloy V-brakes are easy to adjust and maintain. This bike is in the purple and mint colourway.
