The GEN 3 lightweight alloy frame uses a lowered bottom bracket and curved top tube to create a low stand-over height and lower centre of gravity, making it easier for a young rider to get on, balance and regain control.
Out on paths, driveways and park tracks, the 16-inch semi-slick easy-roller tyres offer a smooth, stable feel without adding unnecessary weight. The lightweight alloy fork, rims, hubs, handlebar and stem keep the bike manageable for smaller riders, while the adjustable alloy quill stem and quick-release seat clamp make it easier to set up a comfortable riding position as they grow.
Stopping is deliberately simple: short-reach brake levers operate the alloy caliper front brake, while the coaster rear brake lets a child slow down by back-pedalling. The full-cover chainguard adds useful protection around the drivetrain, the Comfortech youth saddle supports longer rides, and the included tool-free training wheels make the transition from supported riding to two wheels more convenient.
