It penetrates effectively, then forms a durable protective film that helps deliver smooth, quiet running, precise shifting and reduced abrasion. The dust- and dirt-repellent formula is especially well suited to dry, dusty roads and trails.
The oil-wax complex gives the lubricant strong chain adhesion without turning your drivetrain into a dirt magnet. It also provides corrosion and wear protection, while the quickly biodegradable formula is free of heavy metals and offers good material compatibility. Long-term use of this Motorex dry lube has shown notably strong staying power, although the chain can look dirty quickly as residue collects on the outside of the lubricant film.
Apply it to a clean, dry chain while moving the chain and derailleur to distribute the lubricant evenly. Use a sparing amount, and clean and re-oil after particularly dusty rides. Keep it away from brake components, where contamination could reduce braking performance.
