The Magene P715S puts a full dual-sided power meter into a Shimano SPD-SL compatible road pedal. Each pedal measures its own leg, so you get true left/right balance rather than an estimate, with a claimed accuracy of +/- 1%.
Magene builds the strain gauges into the stainless steel spindle, adds a gyroscope to track the pedal through every revolution, and compensates for temperature and altitude. Beyond power and cadence you also get power phase, seated vs standing power, torque effectiveness and smoothness, all over Bluetooth and ANT+, so they pair with Garmin, Wahoo, Zwift and most training apps.
The carbon composite bodies weigh 159 g each with a low 13 mm stack. Battery life is up to 120 hours, charging is magnetic, and they're rated IPX7 for wet winters. Because the power lives in the pedals, moving it between your road bike and your trainer bike takes a pedal spanner and a couple of minutes.
