The wide contact area supports a stable foot position and efficient power transfer, while the controlled float allows natural lateral movement during each pedal stroke.
Front and rear elastomer grip pads add traction when you walk short distances off the bike. The widened grip zones help reduce slipping on smooth surfaces, while the TPU grip layer also helps keep the cleat secure against the shoe. You get the convenience of a more walkable road cleat without changing the KEO pedal interface.
The 4 mm lateral and 9 mm longitudinal adjustment ranges give you room to fine-tune cleat position for your shoes and riding position.
