The Universal LED puts a red light at head height on the back of your helmet. Lazer says it can be mounted directly on compatible Lazer helmets, or fitted with the Velcro strap through the rear vent for a universal fit. At just 21 g it adds very little to the helmet.
There are five modes, from a steady 40 lumen Boost (3 h 30 min) and a 40 lumen fast flash (8 h 30 min) to 20 lumen pulsing modes (14 h) and a 5 lumen Safe pulse that runs for up to 54 hours. The rechargeable li-poly battery charges in about 2 h 30 min over a magnetic USB cable, and Lazer says the magnetic connection stops water and dirt from affecting the LED.
