The Lazer Tempo KinetiCore is built for everyday cycling, giving you lightweight protection, straightforward adjustment and comfortable ventilation without the cost or complexity of a premium race helmet. Its integrated KinetiCore design uses controlled crumple zones within the EPS foam to help manage direct and rotational impact forces, without adding a separate rotational-protection liner.
Fit is simple: the TurnSys® system adjusts with a rear dial, while the unisize shell is designed for heads from 54–61 cm. Independent day-to-day testing found the fit easy to dial in, secure during mixed riding and comfortable on longer outings. The padding and straps feel more functional than luxurious, but they stay in place and do the job reliably.
Ventilation is a real strength for recreational riding. Air channels help move heat away from your scalp, and testing found the Tempo comfortable on warmer rides without feeling stuffy on slower climbs. Add the optional Universal Lazer LED for a rear visibility upgrade, or fit the compatible Winter Kit when you want to extend the helmet’s use into colder weather.
A strong choice for commuters, recreational cyclists and weekend riders who want light, well-ventilated protection with an easy one-size fit.

The Sweet Cyclists
Every detail as listed by the manufacturer.
Lazer is a Belgian helmet brand founded in 1919, with roots in Nivelles and headquarters today in Mechelen, Belgium. The company began with protective headwear long before modern cycling helmets became standard, then evolved through leather crash hats into hard-shell bicycle helmets as the sport demanded higher levels of protection. Over the decades, Lazer became closely associated with cycling helmet development, including early hard-shell road helmets and more recent advances in fit, ventilation and rotational-impact design. Since 2016, Lazer has been part of Shimano, and in 2022 it introduced KinetiCore, its own built-in rotational impact protection system.
