Ventilation
37 ventilation holes
The Valegro is a road helmet designed around thermo-cooling performance. Its 37 ventilation holes promote substantial airflow through the helmet, helping disperse heat during hard efforts and slower uphill riding. At 180 g in size S, it keeps weight low without losing the structured protection and finish expected from Kask.
Inside, 5 mm fast-wicking padding helps manage moisture, while Resistex Carbon supports antistatic, bacteriostatic and heat-regulating performance. The OCTO FIT system gives you a rubberised micro-dial and independently positionable rear contact points, so you can fine-tune the fit to your head shape. The eco-leather chin strap adds a soft, comfortable contact point under the chin.
The Valegro’s open design is particularly well suited to warm Australian conditions, with real-world testing showing excellent cooling at speed and on hot climbs. The trade-off is that the minimal padding and highly ventilated construction may not suit every head shape or sweat pattern. The rear fit system can also sit close to sunglass arms, so we recommend trying the helmet with your usual eyewear before buying.
Ideal for road riders, climbers and summer-focused cyclists who want very strong ventilation, low weight and a highly adjustable fit.

37 ventilation holes
The open shell design encourages airflow through the helmet, helping keep your head cooler on hot rides and sustained climbs.
Lightweight construction
At 180 g in size S, the Valegro keeps helmet weight unobtrusive for long rides and demanding days in the saddle.
OCTO FIT adjustment
The rubberised micro-dial and adjustable rear contact points let you fine-tune the fit for a more secure, personalised feel.
Fast-wicking padding
The 5 mm thermoformed padding helps transfer moisture while supporting heat regulation and comfortable contact with your head.
Removable brow padding
Removing the front padding can increase airflow around the forehead, which may also help reduce sunglass fogging in humid conditions.
Eco-leather chin strap
The soft-touch strap provides a comfortable finish beneath the chin and complements the helmet’s premium feel.
WG11 rotational-impact testing
Kask’s WG11 protocol assesses performance against rotational impacts beyond the requirements of standard certification testing.
Certified protection
The helmet is certified to CE / UKCA EN 1078 requirements for bicycle helmets.
