The Jagwire Sport Organic Disc Brake Pad is a straightforward replacement for a wide range of Shimano-compatible 2-piston disc brakes. It uses an organic compound and a steel backing plate, which gives you the kind of braking feel many riders want for everyday use: quieter operation, strong initial response and easy control at the lever. Organic pads are also typically quick to bed in, so you can get them working well without a long break-in period.

Where this pad makes the most sense is on bikes that are ridden mainly in dry conditions and where you want confident braking without the harsher feel and extra noise that can come with metallic compounds. Jagwire positions this pad around positive brake feel, excellent modulation and low noise, which lines up well with the usual strengths of resin-style pads.
