This is the FC-MT210-B2, a 2-piece 9-speed crankset with a 36-22T double chainring combination and 175 mm arms. The arms are anodised aluminium on a plated steel axle, the chainrings are painted steel, and a crank fixing screw is included. Shimano lists it for smooth, precise front shifting with a narrow 176 mm Q-factor.
The B2 has a 3 mm outboard chain line (51.8 mm), made for frames with a 148 mm thru-axle or 141 mm quick-release rear hub, so it is not the same as the standard FC-MT210-2. It runs on an HG 9-speed chain and needs an outboard bearing bottom bracket. Shimano recommends the BB-MT501 for threaded 68 or 73 mm shells, or the BB-MT500-PA for press-fit.
